Agri Drip Africa promotes Green Enterprises in Apiculture as one of its livelihood supporting projects with a focus on youth and women groups.

Apiculture serves as an essential alternative source of livelihood and economic activity. Bee keeping products have a wide range of applications in food, pharmaceuticals and economic benefits for bee keepers. Apart from honey a bee keeper can harvest other hive products like beewax, propolis, bee pollen and royal jelly which fetch more revenue compared to honey. Additionally bee keepers can generate income through activities such as crop pollination, queen bee breeding and the production of package bees for sale.
